A few months back I was in New York with my dear friend Ron Lopez to take on the L'Oreal Color & Style Trophy competition. Ron (from El Salon) was our lead hair stylist, and I was the lead makeup artist. We were part of the top 10 finalists for the US, and it was a hell of a lot of fun. Anyway, whenever I am in New York I snatch every opportunity to reconnect and collaborate with my NYC cohorts. This trip I managed to connect 2 of my favorite home grown Colorado models, Liv Walker and Valerie Wetmore with the immensely talented fashion photographer (and all around good time Sally) Jason Rowe.
We wanted to play with some makeup looks that felt modern, fresh, and let these girls intrinsic beauty shine through. We played with some great products from Make Up For Ever, Tokyo Milk, BrowFood, TARTE and Urban Decay.
